You should know what physical therapy may cost before treatment starts, not after a bill arrives. We publish our standard visit rates, verify insurance benefits before your appointment whenever possible, and explain what your plan is expected to cover.

Your first appointment is a full evaluation, not a quick screening. We review your history, measure strength and movement, explain what we find, and build a clear plan for what happens next.
Using Insurance
We accept most insurance plans used in Utah County, as well as auto insurance. We may also accept medical liens when appropriate.
Your exact cost depends on your individual plan. Depending on your coverage, you may have:
- A copay for each visit
- Coinsurance, which means you pay a percentage of the allowed cost
- A deductible that must be met before your plan begins paying
- Physical therapy benefits that apply before the deductible
- Primary and secondary coverage that reduces or eliminates your out-of-pocket cost
Some plan networks and Select Health plan types may not be accepted. Contact us with your insurance information and we will confirm whether we are in network.
We Verify Your Benefits Before Your Appointment
Insurance benefits vary too much for a single online estimate to be accurate. Once we receive your insurance information, our team completes a verification of benefits. We check:
- Whether Rx Rehab is in network
- Whether your deductible applies to physical therapy
- How much of your deductible has been met
- Your copay or coinsurance
- Whether authorization or a referral is required
- How primary and secondary insurance may work together
We will explain what we find before care begins. Insurance verification is an estimate based on information provided by your insurer and is not a guarantee of payment, but it gives you the clearest available picture before your first visit.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is used when the evaluation shows that it is appropriate for the tissue and condition being treated. It is not recommended before we know what we are treating.
